Potatoes stuffed with sausage are a great dish for a first date. It will delight any beloved with a magnificent, full dish, and it will win her heart with a multitude of ingredients and a riot of colours. After such a meal, feelings will certainly bud, which will turn into hot love…

Ingredients

  • Half a pack of Głogowska sausage from Morliny (one, long sausage)
  • 1 onion
  • 2–3 cloves of garlic
  • 4–5 pieces of large baking potatoes
  • 1 red pepper
  • 200 g (3.5 oz) of hard cheese
  • A bunch of chopped chives
  • 3 tablespoons of sour cream + some for serving
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Frying oil

Preparation

Step 1

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, but do not peel them. Sprinkle each with olive oil and season with salt. Wrap each potato in aluminium foil and bake in the oven preheated to 180 °C (356 °F) for about 45–60 minutes, until they are soft. Finely dice the sausage, onion, and bell pepper. Chop the garlic. Finely chop the chives. Grate the cheese.

Step 2

Use a frying pan to fry the sausage and onion until lightly golden. Cool the potatoes a little and then cut them in halves. Scoop out the potato halves with a spoon, leaving the skin and some pulp intact. Dice the potatoes left after scooping and put them into the bowl. Add cream, half of the grated cheese, fried sausage with onion, peppers, and chives. Season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Stuff the potato skins with the filling, and then sprinkle the whole with the rest of the grated cheese. Bake in the oven preheated to 180–200 °C (356–392 °F) for about 15–20 minutes.”,” Serve with sour cream.
