People say you can’t really have it all. This recipe proves that you can and in what style!
Slice the sausage. Cut the mozzarella balls into halves.
Cut circles out of the pizza dough of about 8–10 cm (3–4 in) in diameter. Brush each circle with a spoonful of ketchup. Put a few slices of sausage and mozzarella. Stick the edges of the dough together to form a roll, and then tuck them under the bottom of the roll, arranging them with the joint on the baking tray — not unlike a croissant. Brush the top of the rolls with beaten egg and sprinkle with oregano. You can additionally sprinkle them with grated cheese and chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
Bake the rolls for about 15–20 minutes in 200 °C (392 °F) depending on the size — until they rise and are golden.
