Quick pasta with garlic and bacon

Meeting of the giants. Probably the two most delicious things in the world. Garlic and bacon together. Enough talking, let’s start cooking!

Ingredients

  • Tagliatelle, spaghetti, or similar type of pasta
  • 1 pack of cube bacon from Morliny
  • 3–5 cloves of garlic depending on your taste
  • A handful of parsley
  • 50 g of Parmesan cheese (or Pecorino, Grana Padano, or other hard ripening cheese)
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt
  • Chilli pepper (optional)
  • Good quality olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Finely chop the garlic. Chop the parsley. Grate the cheese.

Step 2

Use a frying pan to fry the bacon until it starts to brown. Add the garlic and cook for another 1–2 minutes — be careful not to burn it.

Step 3

Cook the pasta in salted boiling water. When it’s al dente, add to the bacon with garlic.

Step 4

Sprinkle with cheese, parsley, and a lot of ground pepper. Mix it all thoroughly. If the pasta is too dry, add a little olive oil.
