Egg spread with crispy bacon and chives

You can think of reinventing anything — even egg spread! What we prove in the following recipe.


  • 1 pack of bacon in slices from Morliny
  • 10 eggs
  • 2–3 tablespoons of mayonnaise at choice
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard (optional)
  • A handful of chopped chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Step 1

Hard-boil the eggs in water with a teaspoon of salt. After cooking, pour cold water over them and peel them.

Step 2

Place the bacon on baking paper and bake in the oven for 10–15 minutes in 180 °C (356 °F), until it turns golden and crispy. You can also fry it in a frying pan or in the microwave.

Step 3

You can dice the boiled eggs, mash them with a fork, or blend them with a blender or food processor. Add mayonnaise, mustard, chives, salt, and pepper to the eggs. Finely chop half the bacon and add to the spread — leave the rest for decoration.
