Shakshouka with bacon and tomatoes

30 min

Shakshouka may sound like an Indian spell, but it’s a simple and delicious dish! Start the day with a taste that will enchant you.

  • 1 pack of bacon in slices from Morliny
  • 0.5 kg (1.1 lb) of fresh peeled tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3–6 eggs
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Half a teaspoon of dried oregano, bell pepper, cumin, coriander to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Dice the onion finely and finely chop the garlic. Finely dice the tomatoes.

Step 2

Fry the bacon in a pan until it is crispy, do not pour out the fat after frying. Remove it from the pan, and put it away for later.

Step 3

Use the pan to fry the onion until it becomes soft. Add garlic and tomatoes. Add spices, mix everything thoroughly, and cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 4

After this time, use a spoon to make a few pits into which to insert the eggs. Add the broken bacon, and cook it on low power for about 10 minutes. You can cover the pan to speed up the process.
