Baked beans Morliny-style

Take a handful of butter beans and soak them overnight… ⁠— this is no magic spell, only part of our recipe! Do you want to charm with a different taste? Make baked beans Morliny-style.


  • Half a pack of Silesian sausage from Morliny (2–3 sausages)
  • 300 g (10.6 oz) of butter beans soaked overnight
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 pcs of allspice
  • 1 tablespoon of dried marjoram
  • Frying oil
  • 1 can of sliced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Step 1

Pour fresh water over the soaked beans and cook until soft. Slice the sausage. Julienne the onion, chop the garlic.

Step 2

Use a medium pot to heat the olive oil and fry the sausage until golden. Then add the onion and garlic, and fry until the onion is soft. Add the beans and tomatoes. Add 500 ml of water and mix thoroughly with tomato paste. Add plenty of spices for about 15 minutes until the flavours combine. At the end of cooking, season with Salt and pepper to taste.
