Who doesn’t like muffins? If you know someone like that, remove them from your friends immediately. This time we have prepared a recipe for savoury muffins… with sausage!
Fluffy muffins and sausage?
A perfect marriage — Silesian sausage under a quilt of feta and onion, and a yeast dough that will wrap them tenderly. Sausage muffins are a dish to grab with both hands. You take it, swallow the first bite, and you’ve already lost it. The smell of a baked dough, filled with delicious ingredients with a hint of dried tomatoes, will touch your heartstrings.
Muffins with sausage — you simply can’t refuse them. Not only are they beautifully on the outside, but they also have a rich interior. And their taste is heavenly. Your kitchen is the perfect place to have a long-lasting relationship with this delicious snack.
Add yeast into a large bowl and pour water. Add one cup of flour and salt, and set aside for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, dice the onion and sausage, and fry them in a pan. Crumble the cheese and cut the dried tomatoes in strips.
Add the remaining flour to the sourdough, and mix the dough thoroughly. It should stick to your hands. Pour the previously prepared ingredients and oregano into the dough and mix thoroughly.
Brush the muffin mould thoroughly with fat. Fill the muffin places with the dough so that it takes up about three quarters of the space. Cover everything and set aside to rise in a warm place for about 20–30 minutes. Bake the muffins for about 15–20 minutes. at 190 °C (374 °F).
