Sandwich with pulled sausage in BBQ sauce

You could sing serenades about this sausage sandwich… You don’t have to thank us — we bring you, dear friends, the king of appetisers! As the meme says: aww, yiss.


  • A pack of chicken breast sausage from Morliny (about 0.5 kg / 1.1 lb)
  • 2 onions
  • 1.5 cups of BBQ sauce
  • 4–6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4–6 sweet rolls
  • Butter 


Step 1

Remove the casing from the sausage, and then mash it with a fork until you reach the irregular consistency of pulled meat. Put the sausage on a hot frying pan and fry it until it turns golden brown.

Step 2

Julienne or slice the onion, and add it to the fried meat. Stew it all together until the onion is soft. Finally, pour the BBQ sauce over everything and mix thoroughly. Cut the rolls in halves and butter them. Toast the prepared tolls in a dry frying pan until lightly browned and warmed up. Transfer the warm meat to a browned roll and cover with a slice of cheese.
