Tarte flambee with bacon and onion

A dish worth cooking for the sheer enjoyment of saying its name. Imagine calling everyone to dinner with that shout on your lips!


  • 1 pack of cube bacon from Morliny
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 large onion or 2 medium ones


  • Dough:
  • 3 cups of wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • Half a teaspoon of salt


Step 1

Mix dough ingredients thoroughly with each other and then knead the dough is elastic and consistent. Set aside for 15 minutes to let the dough rest.

Step 2

Julienne the onion.

Step 3

After this time, divide the dough into 6 to 8 parts. Each of them should be carefully rolled out into a very thin layer. Brush each of them with sour cream and sprinkle the top with bacon and onion. Bake in the oven preheated to 200 °C (392 °F) for about 10–15 minutes.
