  • A pack of Texas sausage from Morliny (about 0.5 kg / 1.1 lb)
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • Frying oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Step 1

Make cuts on both sides of the sausage. Clean the peppers from the seeds and then cut them in strips. Julienne the onion. Put the onion on a hot pan with olive oil and fry for about 1 minute, until it is lightly golden. Add the bell pepper and season it all with salt and pepper. Fry the vegetables for about 2–3 minutes, stirring every now and then.

Step 2

Put the vegetables into a casserole dish and place the sausages on top of them. Bake everything for 20–30 minutes at 180 °C (356 °F), until the sausage is slightly browned.
