Vorschmak with sausage

The dish simply means appetiser in German”! As you can see, we know foreign languages and we don’t hesitate to use them.


  • 1 pack of ham sausage from Morliny
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 3–4 pickled cucumbers
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cups of broth
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper
  • half a teaspoon of hot pepper (optional)
  • A bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon of marjoram
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Frying oil
  • Parsley to serve


Step 1

Slice the sausage. Julienne the onion, chop the cucumbers.

Step 2

Use a large pot to heat the olive oil, and fry the sausage on it. When the sausage is brown, add the onion and fry until soft. Add the powdered pepper and cook for 1 more minute.

Step 3

Add the broth and other spices. Bring to a boil and simmer on medium power for about 15 minutes. After this time, add half of the cucumbers and simmer for another 10 minutes. Finally, season it with salt and pepper. Serve with chopped parsley.
